They are capable of producing silk that is elastic, adhesive and strong. This is how they build their webs. Most spiders prefer living outdoors but they get inside the house in search of shelter or food.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exclusion and prevention tips<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep your home neat, tidy and free of dust by regular vacuuming. This is the cheapest and basic way to keep spiders away from invading your space.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure to eliminate any cracks and gaps around door and window frames. This is their common way to enter your home.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain proper landscape, prune grass, trees, and shrub branches away from building to prevent spiders from getting inside the building.<\/li>\n<li>Place\u00a0stacks of wood or firewood, mulch etc away from building.<\/li>\n<li>Repair damaged torn or damaged door or window screens. Close gaps and cracks in exterior walls.<\/li>\n<li>For outdoor lighting, use yellow or sodium vapour lamps that do not attract insects.
